The Brief / Concept

In the same vein as Kehlani and SZA, Taliwhoah is a fusion of cultures and her commitment to a “you can’t box me in” mentality is demonstrated beautifully on “Meds”, a blend of free jazz, reggaeton and smooth R&B distilled into a night-time bundle of hip-shaking grooves.

Meds is built as a series of distinct scenes, each one restyled to shift tone — outfits and setting changing scene to scene to build a sense of clique elegance throughout. Shot in a lookbook-style performance format, the video lets styling and visual rhythm carry the story as much as the performance itself.
